  2003 Buell Lightning XBSL Motorcycle PhotoThis is a 2003 Buell Lightning XB9SL with just over 4,600 miles. I am the second owner, purchased with 1,400 miles. This bike is in mint condition with only a few minor cosmetic blemishes due from riding, and attempted theft. Never layed over. Alll of the blemishes from the attempted theft were repaired except for light scratches on the side panel next to the ignition. The entire lock set was replaced (new ignition, new gas cap lock, and seat lock) since the ignition was damaged. As mentioned, the only thing that remains from the attempt is the scratches as seen in the photo. The other unnoticable blemsihes are from simply riding the bike. The fender was self customized. It was shortened and repainted. It looks amazing! The tires were replaced at 4,000 miles with Metzler sportex M-1's. They are practically brand new, and you can feel it in the ride. The bulky stock turn signals were replaced with sleek, smaller aftermarket signals. The pillion pegs were removed, along with the mirrors, but I still have everything you need to put them back on if you wish. This buell has the sports package including the sports muffler, which makes the bike sound so much meaner than the normal stock exhaust! This one will catch your eye, by sound or looks. I have taken care of this bike as well as possible, and this is a steal, again! I bought a Nissan 350z to replace my SUV, so the bike hasn't seen the road as much as it should. You'll love it as much as i did, I promise
